This concept is a 13 storey (50,000 m2) building designed to mimic nature by way of a tree (biomimicry). The building structure and services are integrated into the building through a series of elements which also act as the base for the double facade. A central tree canopy atrium and light wells (which are also water storages) provide equitable access to natural light to all building inhabitants. The design is aimed at achieving the highest green star rating under the China Green Building Council system. The proposal has achieved government approval and is now under negotiation to establish the final mix of tenants. The concept includes a 5 Star hotel, commercial office development and function centres.
